I am blessed beyond measure from all of God’s goodness that was shared this past weekend at Believe Nation Leader’s Edge Experience in Houston, TX hosted by award winning author, speaker, coach and Founder of Believe Nation, Mr. David Imonitie.
I’m sure you see these events on your timeline all the time where people are overly excited, jumping around, sharing videos of some familiar and unfamiliar speakers, and you may think: It don’t take all that to be successful. Or you may say: Aren’t these the same people they see online? Why spend all that money ($297-$997) to go listen to information you’ve already heard before?
Take a moment and just follow me; I’m going somewhere with this.
There’s this thing called the Law of Proximity. If you’re not familiar with it, no worries - let me further explain. The Law of Proximity states that objects that are near or 'proximate' to each other tend to be grouped together. The word “proximity” means nearness in space, time, or relationship. (Read that twice more.)
If I know who I am, and I know what I want, and I know where I’m going, I have to be ALL IN to get ALL of my heart’s desires; not just some. So yes, being in proximity to people that embody greatness, wealth, success, love and joy is apart of the “ALL THAT” that’s required for you to win in life.
Only at events like this, you’ll rub shoulders with 8 figure earner, best selling author, philanthropist and millionaire maker, Twiler Portis whose a leading female trailblazer in the network marketing industry. Only at events like this, you’ll have a focused, present conversation with Kyle Wilson, the brains behind the late great Jim Rohn’s multi-million dollar enterprise and several other giants such as Les Brown, Eric Worre and Darren Hardy. Sidenote: When he signed my book, he complimented me and said, “You have a great communication style. I know you're going to do amazing.” 😆 I affirm others every chance I get, so it was pretty cool for him to affirm me on my journey of becoming a master communicator. #Proximity
Only at events like this, you’ll have the #1 best selling author on leadership in the world, leadership expert, my friend, John C. Maxwell, share material from his unreleased book How To Have A Return On Failure. You cannot separate success from failure; they both are meant to work together. As a Certified John maxwell Trainer and Coach, I felt proud standing single in a crowd of ambitious leaders when John made a call out for all his coaches in Houston. I met so many new faces throughout the weekend from that one shoutout. #Proximity
Only at events like this, do you hear Grammy award winning singer, author and podcast host, Michelle Williams, share her story about the effects of the entertainment industry on her personal growth and steps she took to identify and heal her stony heart. We all have things that we are healing from whether it’s from childhood, adulthood, or both. We are all seeking acceptance, affection, affirmation, encouragement, security, comfort, support and respect from the people in our lives. Whatever you’re seeking in life right now, GIVE IT! Give in as many ways as you can to establish the infinite cycle of giving and receiving. Now, she had to move pretty quickly throughout her presentation, so she said we could DM her for slides. #Proximity
Oh man, this isn’t even half of the value I’ve received this weekend! Just know — Precious Azurée is about to turn ALL THE WAY UP. Here’s my biggest insights and action items:
Write my goals on a few index cards and put them in my nightstand, wallet, bathroom, car and any other place that makes sense so I can see them every day.
Put a date of completion on all of them.
List the obstacles that I’m going to overcome and make the decision on how I’m going to overcome them.
Modify who I’m going to work with and who I am going to serve.
Plan the work and work the plan.
Define how I’m going to reward myself.
Create my $100K month budget and plan how I’m going to invest my income.
Schedule monthly learning lunches with people that have the results I want.
Remember daily: The vision can’t lie.
I am so happy and grateful now that I have a stronger bond with my family, an international community of leaders committed to their pursuit of financial freedom, a positive, intimate, healthy connection with my mind and body experiencing life first class. (Goal Date: December 2022)
I am so happy and grateful now that my grandparents house is fully remodeled, I make six figures residually, I have my white Jaguar F-Pace with red interior, a 800+ credit score and 12 thriving female leaders in my business. (Goal Date: Next Believe Nation event)
I am so happy and grateful now that I’m a global leader, respected businesswoman, style icon, master communicator, proud wife, passionate mother and the epitome of God’s grace and love. (Goal Date: December 2025)
